Can the pet food co. be responsible for vet bill after pet death?

Lost puppy to canned dog food (Old Roy Puppy) by a missed diagnosis. Tainted canned dog food shows up as mild case of parvo, and is mistreated at vet. Spent $500+ for 4 days in vet hospital. 36 hrs after coming home, he died. Vet baffled. I feel dog food company resposible for vet bill and pet loss. Puppy was Jack Russell mix, only 5 months old. I can really afford $500+ for a vet bill to loos the puppy 36 hrs later. Bullbunky! I would like restitution from pet food company. I can't afford a big lawyer, so if I can't get help this way, I am totally to loss for the vet bill and puppy. usargman51@yahoo.com
