Ipod touch??

ok someone is offering me BNIB 16gb ipod touch for 300 cad cash. Should i take it? is it worth it? People who has ipod touch tell me some of pros and cons. And i heard some people were telling me to get it later when the new edition comes out cuz it will have more capacity let me know your opinion thx
