Is it bad to have multiple best friends?

I have 5 great friends (plus my boyfriend, Jason) : Alicia, Jessica, Sammy, Denisha, and Katie. My cousin says you can't have five best friends, that it defaets the purpose of a "best" friend. Do you think that's true?
