Malaysian,if Malaysia combine with Singapore and Brunei can we be as powerful as Korea and Hong Kong?

Based on the present situation, I don't think so. If Malaysia are to absorb Singapore and Brunei, then their resources and wealth will have to be pooled under the federal government, and they will be shared by the rest of the countries, or else wasted under mismanagement or corruptions, then the "states of Singapore and Brunei" will become just like other states in the country. If states like Penang or Melaka are independent city-states like Singapore, IF only, then maybe Penang and Melaka would have been as successful as Singapore.
