Will the Chinese youth's ignorance bring it into conflict with the USA?

If you read blogs or magazines produced by young Chinese people you would think that China has already overtaken the USA economically and militarily. This new found confidence comes for a reason, China has been throwing its weight about since Obama got elected, this is under the mistaken impression that the USA is in rapid decline, they believe 2000 was the USA peak of power. In recent Memory I have never seen the Chinese so aggressive on the World stage, I think we will continue to see a more aggressive side to them.
